Jon Marz: First thing I have to ask...with your Dj touring and remixing? How the hell did this album get done so fast?
ATB: Personally I think it wasn't even that fast. The whole album took me around 5 months but not everyday of these months. There was even time to enjoy life. As producer I know my equipment so well that I can work quit fast. However the quality always comes first.
JM: Here in the states vocalists on trance records seems to be what it takes to achieve a certain level. Working with Heather Nova adds more depth to your productions. Tell us about that, what were those sessions like?
ATB: Fantastic. It's so great to work with Heather. Same as me, she is hardly ever satisfied with the things that she does, but she is so easy to work with. It has been a great experience for me to work with her.
JM: Michael Cretu (Enigma) sold like 10 million albums then dropped off the earth. What was it like working with him?
ATB: Indeed I am a great fan of Mr. Cretu's productions. This particular track was recorded in Ibiza in his famous studio. I must admit I was quit nervous in the beginning, but once touching his instruments everything went very easy and we jammed a full nightlong. I do hope you like the result.
JM: You are a regular on the Ibiza circuit. Do these parties live up to the hype we read about in DJ and Muzik?
ATB: As with all hypes sometimes the talking is a lot bigger than the actual happening. But I like to be in the circuit, it keeps you staying in the picture and it's good for your tan.
JM: What are your DJ tours like? We've heard stories of groupies, hotel room bashes, and chaos? Is this true or should we chalk it up to the UK tabloids as gossip?
